The Brits 2013 – Best Hair Styles

The Best Hairstyles at the BRIT Awards 2013

London’s O2 Arena housed stars from all over the world to award and honour the musical greats that put the UK on the map when it came to music. Here we have collated our favourite hairstyles from the BRIT Awards 2013 red carpet.

Long Hairstyles at the BRITs 2013

The BRIT Awards are not just for the ‘Brits’ – we very kindly allow our cousins from across the water to come along for some fun. American sweetheart and Harry Styles’ ex –  Taylor Swift looked sensational on the red carpet at the BRIT awards 2013. The beauties’ long blonde highlighted hairstyle complimented her long beautiful dress to a tee.

The Voice’s Panelist Jessie J stole the show at the BRIT Awards 2013 with her plunging neckline.  Her hairstyle was her usual dark colour with a long and sleek finish. One difference to Jessie’s hair was her trademark fringe is no more! Jessie’s hair parting was also placed central giving her a very slick hairstyle.

Rebecca Ferguson seems to have opted for a weave of hair extensions placed intricately towards the back of her crown, finished in a sleek and very on trend ‘curly blowdry‘. This  hairstyle is a firm favourite among the Liverpudlian ladies, the big and bouncy look is perfect for a BRIT Awards hairstyle.

Updo Hairstyles at the BRITs 2013

Pussycat Dolls and ‘I’m a celeb’ golden girl Ashley Roberts walked the red carpet at the Brit Awards with her fringe braided back into a messy top knot. This simple easy updo is a perfect BRIT Awards hairstyle.

Emile Sande’s platinum blonde hair looked fantastic in an elegant short up do.  Her undercut (shaved sides) give her the edgy look that really suits her and helps her stand out from the crowd.  Emile‘s platinum blonde hair colour stood out against her black dress.

Paloma Faith – well after her BAFTAs 2013 Hairstyle was described by many as ‘a bowl of croissants’ we thought Paloma might play it a little safer at the Brit Awards.  We should have known better.  The songstress, with her two tone bright orange and blonde hair, opted for an other updo, but that is where the similarities end.  Paloma opted for tight curls and an oversized head piece.  We think it’s much better than the last hair do!

Hair Colour at the Brit Awards 2013

The Stooshe ladies between them have quite an array of hair colours ranging from plum hair colour to dark brown to white platinum blonde. the Stooshe ladies have certainly rocked their hair colour on the BRIT Awards 2013 Red Carpet.

Delilah (yeah we aren’t sure who she is either but she’s got nice hair!) showed us how on trend Ombre hair colour still is with her BRIT Awards 2013 hairstyle.

Tom Odell adopts the Ombre hair colour, with sunkissed colour on the ends of his hair! This proves that the Ombre hair trend isn’t necessarily just for the ladies!

Finally, not forgetting Queen of the Beehive Hairstyle and exaggerated eyeliner Amy Winehouse was nominated in the Best Female category at the BRIT Awards. With so many of us ladies following Amy’s iconic look  it seems only right to mention her too. Her parents collected her award, with Dad Mitch sporting a bespoke waistcoat with Amy printed on it. A very heartfelt tribute.
