Christian Showcases At BarbersRide 2019
BarbersRide is now in it’s 3rd year and Christian was delighted to be invited to join the BarbersRide team in their fundraising, barbering and biking extravaganza.
On the 11th August a gang of crazy, fun-loving, barbering and biker-mad chums embarked on an epic journey around the UK to fundraise for the awesome Make-A- Wish children’s charity!
On Wednesday 14th August, Christian headed to Sheffield to join the awesome Joth Davies at his barbershop Savills so that together they could entertain and inspire the guests with their take on the latest men’s hairdressing techniques and knowledge whilst sharing captivating stories on their career journeys to date.
It was an epic night in the most awesome and inspirational surroundings and it was a pleasure to work alongside Joth who is one of the most renowned figures in barbering. Following the demonstrations the guests were entertained by Hot Souls, a two piece band from Sheffield, with a rip-roaring, raucous soul vibe.
BarbersRide has previously raised over £20k for London’s Great Ormond Street and Liverpool’s Alder Hey children’s hospitals and all the team agreed it was fantastic to be fund raising for a national charity that brings positivity and happiness to sick children from all around the UK. The event has so far raised over £15,000 with more funds still expected.
Christian spoke of the event ‘what a great event to be part of . Its always an honour to join forces with an incredible team to do something amazing for charity. The night was a great success thanks to Joth’s hospitality and a fantastic audience. I’m delighted to hear that funds have hit of £15,000’
